BTC, located in Benin, is West Africa's first fully vertically integrated factory, transforming rain-fed, non-GMO CmiA-certified local cotton —widely recognized and trusted by ginning associations and industry stakeholders—into premium apparel.

In addition to CmiA-certified local cotton, we also work with organic cotton, regenerative cotton, and other sustainable cotton types. From spinning to garmenting, we ensure quality, efficiency, and sustainability at every stage.

With extensive experience across textile operations and business leadership, he is dedicated to driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and delivering world-class textile solutions that meet global standards. His strategic vision and leadership focus on sustainable growth, customer satisfaction, and creating long-term value for all stakeholders while strengthening BTC’s position as a leading textile manufacturing company.

Vikas Budhiraja is a senior textile executive with over 28 years of international experience in marketing, business development, and sales across the entire textile value chain — from yarn and fabrics to apparel.

At BTC, he leads customer-centric strategies that support the growth of the Group’s textile and apparel ecosystem in West Africa. His strong understanding of regional cultures, PPP frameworks, and global market expectations enables him to drive strategic collaborations and build lasting partnerships with investors, institutions, buyers, and international retailers.

Ranganathan Periyaponnan brings over 35 years of deep-rooted experience across the entire textile value chain—from ginning and spinning to garmenting and retail. A textile technologist from Anna University, Chennai, he combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive operational excellence.

Throughout his career, he has led major industrial projects and held senior positions within Fortune 500 companies, managing large-scale teams and delivering on complex business strategies. His strengths span business development, project execution, vendor negotiation, and corporate planning, making him a valuable pillar in BTC’s industrial journey.

Deepak Kumar holds an MBA in Operations and a Degree in Industrial Production Engineering, with over 23 years of experience in the apparel manufacturing industry. Having worked with leading organizations including Shahi Exports, Indo Jordan Clothing Company, BTB Bulgaria India Private Limited, and Radnik Exports, he brings extensive expertise in garment manufacturing, production management, and operational excellence. At BTC, he leads the garment division with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Salma Abaoubida is a sustainability and circular economy leader with international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She currently serves as Head of ESG at Panafritex, where she leads the development and implementation of ESG strategies, responsible sourcing, circular economy initiatives, climate action, and social impact programs across global operations. A textile engineer by background, Salma combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive sustainable transformation throughout the fashion and textile value chain.
